Well, I don’t think that defense players like Matsushita, Gionis or Joo are boring for spectators, and they play with LP.
You’d better read the rules and the list of authorised rubbers : only some frictionless LP were banned, the others and the anti rubbers are still authorised.

im not talking about good pimple players who actually know what they are doing. Im talking about people who are non-pro n00bs who can’t play well with normal rubbers so they choose pips and win from slightly better players because this players have no experience with pipplayers.
Of course I adore the gaming style of big defenders like Joo Se Huyk and Chen Weixing but at least they can attack well! If you can’t do anything with normal rubbers and go pips and win, you should diserve those wins.

It’s simple to beat him. Just smash the first ball he returns and keep on doing that , he won’t have the chance to put spin on the ball
um, it’s not as easy as you think, man. If you return the ball w/ LP the same way you use inverted rubber, you would have your ball hit the net every time. -_-
I believe it’s important to first understand how LP works before giving such a comment. LP makes the game less straight forward (no longer the linear play of counter-spin like inverted rubbers do), and you will just have to find a way to beat it. Believe me, it’s not all that hard.
Not only that, long pips make the game very boring for spectators…
I don’t know how they banned frictionless longpips and kept anti-spin rubber. Long pips are annoying, I watch much better players lose to long pips users who hardly move and have one stroke and it’s annoying.
i hope every long pimples are banned… it gives unexperienced players a cheap way to win from players who are actually way better, while the pimple users almost never know what they’re doing. Stupid, pointless invention.
