i can’t find folding table legs ANYWHERE. where are some stores that would have them? and whats about the right height for the table…30 inches?
you can also just get something to prop the table up a bit. wood blocks, 2X4′s, bricks, etc. the table isn’t going to be taking alot of physical contact
hey, what kind of plywood would you reccomend? Oak, etc.
with plywood, to my knowledge its not generally sold by wood type, but rather by grade; A, B, C, and D. For this, you’d at LEAST want B grade, but preferably A. I’ve seen it for as low as 50 bucks for an 8X4 sheet.
what size of play boy bunny decals did you use?
14″ from the back of the table or back of the triangle?
or…
you could steal one from the salvation army..
like i did.
(Its way cheaper..)
yeah the legs are 29.1 inches, and with the thickness of the wood, makes it about 30 inches. Perfect height. The only reason its so cheap is because you get an 8×4 sheet and cut it in half for 2. Also, i spent 35 bucks on the sheet of wood sanded on one side. but if you want a good table, get the 50 dollar sheet of wood, its sanded both sides, and really strong.
140 for 2? that’s pretty cheap then. Do these folding legs make a tall enough table?
use 2x4s on edge to create a lip, but you would have to use a router to get the lip for the plexi glass to sit in. then caulk it or whatever so its waterproof, so beer doesnt get to your lights.
So i was thinking of making a double-layer BP table so i can put some plexiglass on top and lights underneath for playing outside at night. How do you suggest i do this?
Just goto any place that can make decals or stickers and they will make one for you. OR you can print whatever you want out online, and cut it out. thats what i did, and it looks great.
trying to find away to get sayy budweiser or pilsner logos in sticker form for my table any ideas ebay aint much there surprisingly
the table legs were 19.26 a pair, the wood was like 32.46, primer was 15.97, green paint was 14.98, and clear coat was 9.98, 2 sanding sponges were 5.00, and tape was 5.00……..all purchased at Lowes.
YUP!
the playboy bunny things are just regular stickers?
how much do all these parts cost?
i spent 140 bucks. but that was enough supplies for 2 tables.and enough paint for like 10 tables. lol. im almost done with my USF table…lady gave me the wrong paint(latex) and used it on top of oil based. NO GOOD
how do i add a system to it?
How do i get the Decal to stick to the wood and whats the clear coat you use?
because putting a layer of paint over the black layer would make it look like ass.
awesome tutorial…pretty basic stuff with some common sense but im sure the polycrylic use was unknown by a lot of people…thanks
good job man
