he’s technically not wrong but his form is far from perfect. If you’re going to chop you’re going to be a bit further from the table than that and your stroke should go from your ear down to your knee.
As far as the push goes, you should only be using that for low backspin serves. The point of a push? Put the ball in an awkward position and set yourself up for the attack.

make sure your pushes clear the net by at least 8 to 12 inches, and be sure to swing the paddle directly forward when you’re chopping.

no but if you are playing a defender and they chop it high you should flat hit it hard and it will go over… Watch Waldner against a defender and he loops the first two and then he flat hits it…

LOL man, i ve now 17 years playing table tennis in a competition level (i hard train 4 hours everyday) and i play in circuits in europe (i m 24 year old)

Even if my level allows me to beat you 11-0 in 3 sets each, i dont feel that i have enough level to make a video “teaching” people “how to play table tennis”

You are misleading new players (kids) who really want to do some progress in this game

Just dont make these videos anymore, find another way & respect youtube users.

but there’s gonna be backspin on the ball, instead of smashing it i advise u to loop it.

    No kidding.

I think perhaps… Intermediate Village would be a better name. Just a bunch of people pretending to be experts when in fact they barely know just the basics. I like the ones where they try to teach me how to play volleyball. Wow yeah, expert village allright. Maybe we can just call em Amateur Village…….
