Actually only one of the commentators has no clue. The other one is Danny Seemiller. They’re doing the exhibition on PURPOSE.
They broadcast it on ESPN. How many of those viewers ACTUALLY knows a real rally when they see one?

Yeah regrettably I have to agree with you guys. We avid fans here in the USA have no choice but to watch videos of Euro and Asian TT.
I hope that will change one day, but it is probably a long time coming.
same here… its soo crappy. American & Table Tennis just don’t mix… go play some american football or basketball, or baseball but NO table tennis
Love that-Table Tennis in America, where no one can play table tennis…syed best years passed long time ago and who is barney reed? And those commentators who can’t distinguish exhibition from serious play…uh, smells like American table tennis
