    A “chopper” is a defensive player who uses backspin shots (“chops”) to return the opponent’s topspin attacks. It’s similar to the “slice” in tennis.

    if you read the desc. it says, “women’s doubles semifinal”
    so i’m guessing it’s all females.
    not men against women.
    and i don’t think it’d matter if it was men against women because women can do anything as great or greater as a male can do.

    UNBELIEVABLE!
    Those were some of the greates rallies I´ve ever seen. I nearly got dizzy just from watching how the two defenders are spinning around each other. ;-)

    It’s tougher playing defensive since u’ll be running around the court more that the offensive players, exhausting more energy. The korean pair did a wonderful feat by keeping the rally long and exciting! Kudos to them!
