Short Serve in Ping Pong

Short Serve in Ping Pong

Cool professional video with a variety of serves including backspin serve, high backspin serve, side spin serve, pendulum and reverse pendulum serve. Also includes a basic no spin serve, short serve and some tricky serves.

A great  demo video on how to serve  in table tennis. Multiple cameras plus slow motion. Cool background music – Evanescence – Bring me to life.

I’ve tried some – i.e DHS G666 or hurricane 2. Chinese rubbers needs different technique, they are better at serves, and close to the table 3rd or 5th ball loopkill, but they defenetelly need speed glue at least 3-5 layers…

Viszpi – thanks for the great demo, and the good editing you made on all your youtube video. Really make it more enjoyable.

Quick question on the rubber – do you (or your club buddies) have any experience with Chinese rubbers? such as 729 series? They are cheaper than the Japanese/euro ones but I heard different reviews.

    Thanks!

switchig rubbers not so good idea, especially if it’s not the same. (unless you can afford new sheets every 1 or 2 month)
I always play with the same pair rubber. My tenergys are good for 6-7 month with 4-6 training a week. Always clean them and use a protective layer, too…
I think two sheets are affordable in a year if you play regularly and have some goal in table tennis…

if it’s a high ball there should be enough time to make it with the forehand. If not than it’s not that high, but if it’s still higher wait a bit longer and loop it with much spin, but with a safe hit, or take the ball immediatelly off the bounce and kill it over the table….
