no u stupid people dont get ..ist first of all its and exhebition game they want to make some nice rallies .second of all the europian guy put lots of spin on the all top spin and side spin the chinese dude cant read the spin so he just smashes it
drop shots are difficult to do effectively for 3 reasons (at least to me) 1) the ball’s velocity, 2) dealing with spin, and 3) lobs placed far back on the table, which maze is really good at, making it difficult to get a decent shallow angle. topspin plus #3 alone makes drop shots VERY tough to do well. given that, maintaining the attack will seem to be a better option alotta times.
I also found the statistics at the website of the DTTB but I can’t post the link :-/ but it’s Würzburg – Levallois, 4th match Tan – Maze, won 3-2 by Maze
Okay, considering that they are playing on one table and that the floor is the red one this must be Champions League… Würzburg – Levallois (Tan Rui Wu – Maze)! If you don’t trust me just compare Levallois’ shirts with the one Maze wears
Of course this is Michael Maze! Just look at the way he serves and compare it to other videos of him! Or the way he plays the first backhand topspin and the way he lobs (for example the match at the WTTC2005 against Hao Shuai)! I must confess that his face looks quiet strange and my first opinion was also “no this is not Michael Maze” but if you look at his technique and considering that he played in Germany (and this is German Bundesliga) it MUST be him!
i think it is
why are they trying to do that?
Imagine trying to do this with hard bat and small ball.
dang, 58 hits.
I’d love to see you do a dropshot when the ball bounces higher than your head.
wow that’s amazing
too bad he lost though
he should of just did a dropshot
lefty against lefty @.@
Is this the same rally?

if i were that guy on the offensive, i would’ve just dropped shot it after a few swings.
hahahaaa da isch der matze….
This is easy just for public is not real turnament
That was a nice reply, I just didn’t like the “stupid people”.
Cause net shots aren’t as exciting as a smash =O

I don’t understand, why doesn’t he just do a “net shot” when his opponent is so pinned down behind?

but the face is not the same; i know he had longer hair some years ago but this is definetly not michael maze
I am not sure about who the guy with long hair is, I do think it is Maze; he had long hair some years ago!
Saive is better. But maze isn’t that bad either
